The newly crowned Miss Caribbean Canada Queen 2016 Miss Jahail Darby is also an Ambassador for Sickle Cell Association being in partnership with the pageant. She was sponsored one of our community partners Jiffy Lube and represented the country of Jamaica. Jahail Shanice Darby was born June 25, 1995 in Mississauga, Ontario to a very loving, strong, well-grounded and supportive family. Jahail is a bilingual student attending Brock University enrolled in a four year Sociology BA (Honours) program with a concentration in criminology. After completing her four years at Brock she is determined to enroll into law school and then further her studies to become a Judge.

Her passions include Singing, Tap dancing, playing her piano, playing rugby and staying involved in her regular church activities. Although she allows time for herself, Jahail is also actively working in her community. She has volunteered at Trillium Health Partners Hospital (Credit Valley Location), United Way region of peel functions, Black Council Association Committee, Donor Drive 4 Dorthy and at Praise Cathedral Worship Center her home church.
