History

We build this pageant on principles of honesty, women empowerment and integrity.

Created in 1991, the “Lloyd’s Photography” Organization has the exclusive rights to produce the Miss Caribbean Canada Pageant formerly Miss Lloyd’s Photography Pageant.

The pageant was born out of the idea and desire to assist young ladies by providing them with a platform to build self-esteem, facilitating exposure to opportunities and experiences that plays a role in shaping them into confident, bold and informed contributors to society.

The company president, Mr. Lloyd Dwyer, a Jamaican-born Canadian, has worked in the beauty pageant field for over two decades, and has garnered industry respect and numerous accolades as a photographer and local and international event producer.

Since 1991, the MCCP Organization has strived to be an active member of the GTA community. We’re proud to have pageant winners that have addressed over 10,000 in audiences with messaging focused on the importance of education, setting goals, pursuing your dreams as well as delivering an anti-bullying campaign.

Our organization is proud to have developed strong relationships and assisted some of Canada’s biggest non-profit organizations including Sickle Cell Association of Ontario, Marcus Garvey Day Celebration, The Jamaican Canadian Association (JCA), Disaster Relief, Pre-school education and women empowerment.

We have also assisted numerous charities within the diverse ethnic communities represented in the GTA.

During her reigning year, the Miss Caribbean Queen regularly attends and is featured as a VIP guest at the premier entertainment and sporting events throughout Canada.
